Dancing Diagonally

The glorious Dance Diagonal by Lother Gotz graces the walls of the Towner art gallery in Eastbourne. It is vibrant and colourful and a joy to behold. This is my take on it, more muted in tone as that's how I was feeling after my Covid jab (but very glad to have it!).

Love is a gossamer web,
Connecting us with gentle strength.
Beautiful and delicate.
Love is entanglement,
Silken threads knot with others
Sometimes never to be undone
Sometimes to be torn asunder
But the thread continues.
Love is a shadow ever near
Who walks with us and shares our world
A shadow who can pass
From one to the next
